What does MDR mean?
Managed Detection and Response is a program that manages, detects, and responds to cybersecurity threats. MDR uses technology and highly trained security analysts to constantly monitor network activity and alert IT of any suspicious activity. In the event of an actual attack, MDR responds immediately in order to mitigate and prevent further damages.
MDR solutions also help companies meet regulatory compliance requirements, especially in those industries that are highly targeted by cybercriminals, such as government, healthcare, and financial services.
