What is Cybersecurity?
Cybersecurity is the field of IT that is concerned with protecting an organization’s network and sensitive information from cyber-attacks and extortion attempts. Cybersecurity utilizes the latest technology to detect patterns and practices commonly used by hackers in order to prevent future attacks.
Cybersecurity also involves educating employees throughout an organization about password protocols and how to spot phishing emails and other types of attempts by hackers to access a company or individual’s network.
