What Does EDR Stand For?
EDR stands for endpoint detection and response, which is a type of security technology used to monitor and analyze endpoint data on a continual basis to create automated responses to security threats.
Endpoint detection and response solutions can alert IT security departments instantly of a threat and help them respond automatically. Plus, the data gathered by EDR applications can be analyzed in order to detect patterns and prevent future security threats.
